» Asia’s biggest food and beverage show, THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2025, kicked off with buyers from 140 countries flocking to Thailand. Commerce Minister Pichai Naripthaphan welcomed the international crowd, highlighting Thailand’s ambition to become the “Kitchen of the World.”
The massive event at IMPACT Exhibition Center showcases the latest food innovations and aims to boost trade. Organizers expect deals to top a whopping Bt98 billion.
Minister Pichai emphasized Thailand’s natural strengths in the food industry, from its diverse ingredients to its rich culinary culture. He noted that Thailand ranked as the 12th largest food exporter globally in 2024, and exports are projected to grow nearly 7% this year, reaching 1.75 trillion baht.
THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA is a key driver for the Ministry of Commerce in developing Thailand’s food sector. Ranked as the fourth largest food and beverage trade show worldwide, it provides a crucial platform for Thai food businesses of all sizes to strike deals and expand their reach.
This year’s show is bigger than ever, with over 3,200 companies from Thailand and 56 other countries filling more than 6,200 booths. You’ll find everything from fresh produce to the latest food tech. Over 90,000 trade visitors are expected during the trade days.
“This event’s success shows Thailand’s potential to be a global food hub and a trusted food source for the world,” said Minister Pichai. He pointed to Thailand’s infrastructure, business connections, and government support as key factors in building international confidence.
THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA is open for trade visitors from May 27-30 and will welcome the public on May 31. Besides the huge product showcase, the event features special exhibits and seminars on the latest food trends.
